Me, Twix & Cashier

Assalammualaikum semua

How's Malaysia ? Been missing my family and craving for Malaysians' food too much lately.

So this time aku nak cerita pasal kejadian yang berlaku last Halloween bertempat di Kroger (Kroger ni lebih kurang macam Giant/Tesco) . Situasi yang melibat aku, Twix dan a cashier attendant.



Cerita dia macamni, bersempena sambutan Halloween all of the candies and chocolates were on sale. Tiba tiba aku nampak sepeket Twix yang besar dalam dia ada mini Twixs just $1.98 je. I said to my room mate "Seriously? Murah gila weh...mesti beli ni". So i grabbed the Twix and then scan the price dekat cashier booth( dekat sini cashier dia jenis self service). " $5.98 " .  Aku pun terdiam kat situ sorang sorang, fikir nak bayar ke tak, nak bayar ke tak...

Then i decided to call the attendant to help me out. Dia pun datang lah and i explained everything pasal the price differences and was planning to cancel my purchase if the Twix costs me $5.98. Lepastu dis terus cakap, i'm sorry it was our fault. Supposedly Twix tu mmg harga dia $5.98 tapi dia salah letak kat price tag untuk chocolate Snickers. Then he straight away gave me the $1.98 price for my Twix chocalate :)

Apa yang aku nak cakap dekat sini, aku suka lah cara attendant tu handle this situation. Cepat and professional. Back then in our country if this kind of situation happened mesti lambat gila nak settle. Nak panggil supervisor lah, manager lah. At the end nanti even salah price tag pun dia akan cakap, " akak, harga dia yang betul is $5.98. So........ jadi beli ke tak ni? " . So yeah, that's my point. If we can implement this kind of professional ethic in our country, that would be great isn't?

  1. whoah ! berbeza dengan malaysia . Kalau situasi macam ni jadi dekat malaysia ,setengah jam pun belum tentu cukup untuk settle . fuh .
